Italian Portfolio is the catalogue of the exhibition of the same name celebrating thirty years of activity at the gallery "Il Diaframma"; It presents an overview of contemporary Italian photography through the works of leading artists: Gian Paolo Barbieri, Gabriele Basilico, Gianni Berengo Gardin, Luigi Ghirri, Mario Giacomelli, Mimmo Jodice, Paolo Monti, Ugo Mulas, Federico Patellani, and Ferdinando Scianna. The work of an excellent "Italian art studio" - the Studio Fotografico Negri - serves as a prologue and the photographs of a promising artist - Antonio Biasiucci - as an epilogue. The review comprises sixty splendid images that will be shown to the American public in a travelling exhibition whose first port of call is New York. The exhibition will later move on to Europe as well.
