The first complete volume on this subject published in Italy, it contains 170 samples of display windows of the most famous shops in Milan. They are categorised according to address and type of merchandise and are artistically presented, thanks to the especially created pictures. Technical tables for each picture contain information on the designers, artisans, dressers and the materials and techniques used in creating each window. The apagesendix contains an invaluable index of the designers, window dressers and supagesliers. One chapter is specifically dedicated to Christmas, while another chapter is dedicated to the "Futurshop-Progetto Vetrina", held at the Milan fairgrounds.
